At Farley's Jewelers, we are serious about the quality of our merchandise. All of the diamonds in our store are examined and must comply with the 4C's. These are the characteristics that determine the quality of a diamond. The 4C's are: CUT, COLOR, CLARITY and CARAT WEIGHT.
 |
CUT |
| |
The manner by which a diamond is cut and polished.
|
 |
COLOR |
| |
The closer a diamond is to having no color, the more valuable it is. |
 |
CLARITY |
| |
Minute traces of other minerals, called inclusions, exist in every diamond. The fewer inclusions, the more valuable the diamond. |
 |
CARAT |
| |
The carat is simply a unit of weight. A more valuable diamond has a larger carat value. |
